Daniella Ohad

Daniella Ohad is a design historian, educator, writer, talk show host, and curator. She earned a PhD in Decorative Arts, Design History, and Material Culture from the Bard Graduate Center. For more than two decades, she has been committed to education in design culture, history, and theory, as well as contemporary design and connoisseurship.

Ohad has been a member of various museum acquisition committees, and her blog Daniella on Design is considered one of the finest in the field. Her flagship AIA program Collecting Design: The Legends engages architects, interior designers, design lovers, and art collectors in exploring the world of collectible design through the eyes of the legends who have shaped its culture. In 2021, she introduced a new AIA program, Interior Design: The Legends. She writes the Design Legends column for the Design Miami/ Forum.
