Adam Štěch

Born in Děčín, Adam Štěch is a theorist, journalist, and curator in design, architecture, and the visual arts. After earning an MA in Art History from Charles University in Prague, he worked as an editor for Dolce Vita. Today, he is the editor of Architect+ and a co-founder and curator of OKOLO. He leads the History of Design course at Scholastice in Prague.

Štěch has authored numerous texts for domestic and foreign media, such as Art & Antiques, Proč Ne !?, Elle Decor, Wallpaper, Damn, Domus, Mark, and Frame. He regularly produces projects for brands and institutions like Phillips de Pury, Casa Mollino, Design Museum Holon, Depot Basel, Vienna Design Week, and Phaidon. His most recent book project is Modern Architecture and Interiors for Prestel (2020).
