Here Comes Basel!

Design Miami

Design Miami/ Basel returns in June with a robust roster of international exhibitors

Here comes Basel! The sixteenth edition of Design Miami/ Basel takes place June 14-19th at Basel’s Messeplatz. The upcoming fair will present a robust international program featuring exceptional historical and contemporary work from over 50 exhibitors, including 20+ brand new faces.

The summertime fair marks the debut of Design Miami/’s new Curatorial Director, Maria Cristina Didero. Didero’s theme for the Basel event, The Golden Age: Rooted in the Past, will celebrate humanity’s flexibility, resilience, and adaptability. An exciting array of work, from rare historical objects to never-before-seen contemporary pieces, will offer diverse responses to the topic.

For the second year in a row, works from the showfloor will also be available to view and shop online in real time. The fair’s ongoing hybrid physical-digital format will also allow collectors and enthusiasts to engage in digital programming, including virtual tours and talks.
