Design Miami/ announces its inaugural Parisian fair, coming October 2023

Design Miami/ is thrilled to announce the debut of our first-ever Paris-based design fair. The highly anticipated event will showcase historic and contemporary collectable design pieces by leading Parisian and international galleries from October 17-22 at L’hôtel de Maisons. As the sister fair to Art Basel, the inaugural Design Miami/ Paris will coincide with Paris+ par Art Basel, and joins our flagship fairs in Basel and Miami Beach.

The Paris edition follows a long history of collaboration with renowned galleries and partners from across the city, and demonstrates Design Miami’s ongoing commitment to nurturing a growing global design community. As Jen Roberts, CEO of Design Miami/, explains: “Paris has always held great significance to Design Miami/. As a capital of collectible design, it is home to many of the celebrated galleries, partners and brands who have been so integral to the scholarship and evolution of this market. We are committed to the city’s vibrant and multifaceted creative landscape, and hope that the new Paris fair will continue Design Miami’s ongoing mission to bring together our influential community of designers and gallerists, curators and collectors, in celebration of design culture.”

The event’s gorgeous setting, L’hôtel de Maisons‚  is a historic residence with a courtyard and a garden situated in Saint-Germain-des-Prés, a cultural hub that’s home to many of the world’s leading collectible design galleries. The 18th century mansion stands as an iconic landmark deeply rooted in Parisian history—and was previously home to Karl Lagerfeld and several generations of the Pozzo di Borgo family.
