Swirl by we+ is a light fixture that visualizes the flow of water produced by a vortex and its time axis. Inspired by primitive forms of illumination, it combines natural phenomena with manmade elements. By generating a rapid stream of water in a large tank, molten wax is poured inside and hardened, resulting in a unique, sculptural form utilized as a mold for a lost-wax casting method creating the final aluminum structure. Despite being a static product, it presents an untamed and wild presence that is reverent of nature. Measuring 20 x 20 x 60 cm, this design is a limited edition of 8 + 1 AP.
