This sideboard was designed by Walter Dorwin Teague. Made of bleached, figured paldao wood, it features a hinged side door that conceals four shelves and two doors with chrome-plated pulls that conceal 3 drawers and 2 adjustable shelves. The interior is lacquered, and the plinth-like base is made of stainless steel. The keys are included.
Born in Indiana, Walter Dorwin Teague (1883-1960) was an American industrial designer, architect, illustrator, graphic designer, writer, and entrepreneur. He pioneered the streamline moderne style in the US in the mid-century.
