This rosewood secretaire was designed by Tomaso Buzzi and produced by Turri di Bovisio circa 1929-30. This design can be seen in Buzzi’s drawings.
Italian architect, designer, and decorator Buzzi (1900-1981) was an associate of Gio Ponti in his early career and went on to become a favorite designer of the Italian upper class during the prewar era.
