Nikolai and Simon Haas explore aesthetic and formal themes related to nature, science fiction, sexuality, psychedelia, and color theory in prolific materials. "Grey Liotta," is part of The Haas Brothers' ongoing beast series, in which they explore the formal and emotional spectrum between toy and taxidermy, aiming to understand and manipulate emotional responses that derive from physical interactions with material and structure. Their mastery and uniquely clever use of materials ranging from brass, bronze, porcelain and fur to highly technical resins and polyurethane, matched with their insatiable curiosity and remarkable visual intelligence, sets them apart as designers.
