This porcelain tea bowl was created by Takuro Kuwata in 2019. This piece is a one-of-a-kind. Born in Hiroshima, ceramic artist Kuwata (b. 1981) lives and works in Toki City, Japan. His work can be found in the permanent collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Boca Raton Museum of Art, Palm Springs Art Museum, Rubell Family Collection, 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Mashiko Museum of Ceramic Art, Rakusuitei Museum of Art, among others.
