This heart-shaped, glazed ceramic object was created by Sterling Ruby in 2018. It is one-of-a-kind. Born in Bitburg, Germany, and based in Los Angeles, Ruby is an artist who works in a wide range of materials and techniques, including polyurethane, bronze, steel, and ceramic sculptures, drawings and collages, photography and video, spray-paint and oil paintings; textile works including quilts, tapestries, garments, and soft sculptures. His work can be found in the permanent collections of the MoMA New York, Solomon R.
