For fifty years, Stanley Edmondson has been working with clay at his childhood home in California. His work is an autobiographical visual history of ceramics, presenting both personal anecdotes and references to some of his past mentors, such as Peter Voulkos, John Mason and Ynez Johnston. This untitled unique work from 2017 utilizes the inherent malleability of clay to evoke clouds and other symbols.
