Situated at the 12, rue Bonaparte in Paris, the famous Galerie M.A.I (Meubles Architectures et Installations) is, in the 50s, the most in advance in design - Italian, Scandinavian and French-. It was forexample the only distributor of Max Bill, Arteluce or Aalto.
The gallery also proposed exclusive creations by Pierre Paulin, or Pierre Guariche, like this piece.
