Description

Magen H Gallery

The R06 was presented to the public in 1962 at the first Salon des Arts Ménagers in Paris, making its mark through the assembly of its jambs and the crosspieces on the door frames, held by four dowels, which were made with respect for the medieval traditions of carpenters and chest makers. It is one of the first works in the series of “three-centimeter” cabinet furniture, whose main characteristic is the thickness of its constituent parts. The proportion of its golden ratio volumes and the high base which lightens the look of the whole contributed to its rapid success.
