Thomas Fritsch-ARTRIUM

This black and brown enamelled ceramic vase was created by Pol Chambost in 1956. Featuring a white interior, the piece is signed Poterie Pol Chambost 844.

Born in Ivry-sur-Seine, Chambost (1906-1983) was a pioneer in modernist aesthetics, known for his striking biomorphic forms and spirited use of color.
