Constructed by hand and coated with celadon glaze, Kodai Ujiie manages a distinctive tea bowl constantly in motion. The foot of the bowl is constructed entirely from vermillion lacquer, and cracks formed by intentionally reaching a high firing heat are similarly filled with colored lacquer in the kintsugi-style.
