This foldable table was designed by Mogens Lassen and produced by cabinetmaker K. Thomsent. Featuring a solid Cuban mahagony top and white lacquered wood base, this one-of-a-kind was exhibited in a 1942 exhibition of Danish Arts & Crafts of Copenhagen. The piece is illustrated in Nyt Tidsskrift for Dansk Kunsthåndværks published in 1942 (pg. 85).
Lassen (1901-1987) was an influential Danish architect who pioneered of Danish Functionalism.
