Designed by artist Mark Brusse in 1970, this striking armchair features two planes of polymethacrylate set within a simple wood frame. It is a production of Atelier A, the experiential design workshop set up by French artist François Arnal in the late 1960s. Originally, six copies of the design were planned, but only this one was ever made. It is in its original, unrestored condition.
Born in the Netherlands, Brusse is an artist who lives and works in Paris.
