Galerie Jacques Lacoste

This brushed steel and Belgian marble dining table was created by Marc du Plantier circa 1940 for Marquis et Marquise de Casa Valdes. Similar designs are referenced in Marc du Plantier, published by Editions Norma in 2010 (pg. 164, 275). It was photographed in situ in 1948.

French designer Marc du Plantier (1901-1975) trained as painter and architect. He created objects and interiors for fashion houses and private residences, as well as stage sets and costumes for La Comedie Francaise.
