This Bola Chair was created by Lina Bo Bardi in 1951 for her own house in São Paulo, the famous Casa de Vidro (or Glass House). Only six Bola Chairs were produced for the house. This one is the only one that is not a part of the Casa de Vidro collection.


Born in Italy, Bo Bardi (1914-1992) was a prolific and pioneering Brazilian modernist architect.
