This bench was handwoven in PVC tubing by Kwangho in 2017. Due to the nature of its production, it is a one-of-a-kind. Lee’s woven works can be commissioned in a variety of sizes and materials, including silk rope. Lee lives and works in Seoul. After receiving a BA in art and design from Hongik University, he launched his own studio with a specialty in making surprising objects by hand. He draws inspiration from his childhood memories of his grandfather, a farmer who made daily household goods from materials found nearby.
