Kiva Motnyk is an artist and designer who explores connections between art, industry and nature, through a process of discovery, conception and making. As shown in her work for Objects: USA 2020, Motnyk’s sensibility is rooted in a love of natural color, texture and pattern expressed in a modern application of traditional techniques: silk screening, weaving, knitting, quilting, and multiple natural dye methods. She founded Thompson Street Studio in NYC, as a space to create work that conceptualizes art and design as one discipline focused on creating the everyday object.
Please note this work is currently a part of the Objects: USA exhibition at R & Company. As such, the work will need to remain on view for the duration of the exhibition and will be available for shipment in September. The piece ships from New York, NY, directly from the seller. Shipping and tax (except eligible FL tax) will be charged separately.
