Kiki van Eijk's Free Form is a series of distinctive and customizable light components that are made from ceramic and LEDs and inspired by an old Venetian glass technique used to make chandeliers. The inside features a shiny, reflective glaze while the outer surface has a matte finish that lends a soft feel. The collection includes floor, ceiling, and table light fixtures, which are all 100% customizable in dimensions and colors. The model shown here measures 30 x 220 x 50 cm. This design is an open edition made to order.

Van Eijk grew up in a small city in the Netherlands, immersed in nature, daydreaming, and drawing. Today she is a leading voice in Dutch design. During her studies at the Design Academy of Eindhoven, she met her future partner, Joost van Bleiswijk, another major contributor to contemporary Dutch design. Known for her signature whimsical, colorful, lyrical style, van Eijk works across media, from textiles, ceramics, and glasswork to furniture and installation.
Van Eijk’s work can be found in international museums, galleries, fairs, and private collections. She’s collaborated with brands such as Hermès, Saint-Louis, 1882 Ltd, MOOOI, Häagen-Dazs, Serax, Bernhardt Design, and Nodus. In recent years, she’s consulted for companies and institutions like Studio Edelkoort Paris, Design Academy Eindhoven, Venice Projects, Audax Textile Museum, Zuiderzee Museum, Noord Brabants Museum, and Rijksmuseum.
