This desk by Jacques Adnet, produced circa 1950, features the original oak veneered top and stitched black leather accents. Born in Burgundy, Adnet (1900-1984) was a French architect and interior designer who contributed to the pre-war Art Deco movement while also championing functionalist principles and his pared back aesthetics.
