Robert Guillerme and Jacques Chambron met while fighting side to side during the Word War II. Guillerme, 1934 graduate from L’École Boule in Paris, and Chambron, who graduated form l’École des Arts Appliqués of Reims, planned future collaborations in order to cope with the situation. Yet, Guillerme and Chambron created their first collaboration, “Votre Maison”, only in 1949. Robert Guillerme took care of the design, while Chambron took on the administrative and consulting side. The creations, received as “quality furniture adapted to daily life”, favored the family unit, in which both adults and kids would be pleased to live.
