Sospeso (Suspended) is the first jewelry collection created by Giorgio Vigna for Elisabetta Cipriani. Including both rings and pendants, the project is a homage to Vigna’s Sospeso sculpture, which was commissioned for the TRA: Edge of Becoming exhibition at the Fortuny Museum during the 54th Venice Biennale in 2011. Conceived as wearable sculpture, these pieces celebrate day and night, fullness and emptiness, and the daily passage of time. This design is available as an edition of 5, each signed and numbered and made to measure.
During his long, prolific career, Vigna has created a wide range of multidisciplinary work, from sculptures and installations to furniture and jewelry. Institutions around the world collect his work.
