This letter was written by Gio Ponti to his friend Giovanni Ratto, editor of Domus Magazine, in 1969. It reads:
"Dear Ratto, Don't forget that I want spaces for me but also for the businesses that are already signed up (Ponwalter) and those are yet to sign up…Mundi. And also for those who will exhibit my pieces on their stands as well as on mine. And remember the firm commitments. Your Gio Ponti 4/12/69" Born in Milan, legendary designer Gio Ponti (1891-1979) wore many hats throughout his prolific career: architect, designer, artist, decorator, theorist, lecturer, editor. His impact on the course of 20th-century Italian design is immeasurable.
