This Conoid Bench was created by George Nakashima in American black walnut with rosewood butterflies. It was once proudly displayed at Nakashima Studio as a superior example of craftsmanship.
Nakashima (1905-1990) was an American architect and furniture maker who is considered to be the father of the American Craft movement.
