Gary Webb’s sculptures are characterized by unexpected and contrasting compositions, at once geometric and organic, combining modernist references and kitsch decorative motifs. His Peach Mirror is a one-of-a-kind piece, composed of tinted mirrors on American white ash wood on metal.
Webb (b. 1973) is an artist who lives and works in London. A graduate of Goldsmiths College London, his work has been the subject of several solo exhibitions, notably at Le Consortium in Dijon, deCordova Sculpture Park & Museum in Massachusetts, and Bloomberg Space in London. He participated in the 2011 exhibition, Modern British Sculpture, at the Royal Academy of Arts in London.
