Edition of 10.
This 3D printed sand vessel continues Gareth Neal's exploration of the antique vessel form, as he moves away from his material of expertise, wood, to investigate new making possibilities and complex forms. The son of an archeologist, he has a keen interest in our cultural heritage; his practice is concerned with the dialogue between the historical and the contemporary, traditional processes of making and new technologies. Neal’s work has been exhibited internationally, e.g. MAD NYC; Mint Museum, NC; Design Museum Holon, Israel, and is featured in prestigious museum collections such as the V&A, UK.
