Large 18ct yellow gold bangle with four pointed prongs and two tension-set interchangeable malachite and hematite rounded square stones, each with four drilled holes to accommodate the prongs. Stamped on the inside of the bottom with the monogram B in a circle and 750. One of the most important post-war studio jewellers, Becker was celebrated for his pared back design where the simultaneity of ornament and function remained paramount and in this bangle he explored the ability of creating different visual effects by using tension setting to allow for different coloured stones to be inserted.
