Fernando and Humberto Campana Arachnid White Chair $38,000>
Friedman Benda

Composed of woven velvet and Tauarí wood, the Arachnid Chair is available in an edition of 20. Estudio Campana, established in 1984 in São Paulo by brothers Fernando and Humberto Campana, is recognized as a pioneer in disruptive design and as world-class creators of a ground-breaking design language. Much of their furniture design has attained iconic status, such as the Vermelha and Favela chairs. Proudly rooted in Brazilian culture and traditions, their work nonetheless carries universal values—the undying search for freedom, human dignity, identity through everyday life experiences. In recent decades, the studio has expanded its repertoire to the areas of architecture, landscaping, scenography, fashion, among others. Estudio Campana’s work can be found in the permanent collections of renowned cultural institutions like the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris, and the Vitra Design Museum in Weil am Rhein, Germany.
