Noam Dover and Michal Cederbaum created the Canvas; Amphorae Series for the duo's solo show, A Sort of Homecoming, curated by Sandra Weil and presented at Galleri Glas in Stockholm in 2019. An exploration of the ancient amphorae archetype and the rich traditions of vessel making in and around Israel, Canvas; Amphorae carry on a dialogue with artifacts from the archeological wing at the Israel Museum and reinterpret the ancient canon through contemporary materials andprocesses. Canvas; Amphorae 07 is handmade in glass and measures 42 x 22 x 22 cm. It is a one-of-a-kind.
