This ash wood chair was designed by Charlotte Perriand and edited by B.C.B (Bureau de coordination du Bâtiment) in 1954. It is in its original, unrestored condition.
Born in Paris, Perriand (1903-1999) was a French architect-designer who is known for her collaborations with Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret, and Jean Prouvé, as well as her visionary independent projects that disseminated sophisticated modernist design around the world.
