Bethan Laura Wood designed the Rainbow Low T Vase in 2014, a part of her FROM–TO project produced in collaboration with artisanal ceramics firm Linea Sette. The forms of the collection were inspired by the idea of cutting and repositioning different parts of a rainbow arch. Only a few are left from the current production run: 10 pieces in latte (milk) and in 4 tortora (turtledove).

Bethan Laura Wood earned an MA in Design Products from the Royal College of Art, under the tuition of Jurgen Bey and Martino Gamper. Since graduating in 2009, she has built a multidisciplinary practice characterized by material investigation, artisan collaboration, and a passion for color and detail. She is interested in critical approaches to achieving sustainability in a mass consumption, production-driven context.

Wood has undertaken multiple residency programs, from London Design Museum to W Hotel in Mexico City, and she regularly works with Italian artisans from the regions of Venice and Vicenza. Alongside working closely with Nilufar Gallery since 2011 for limited-edition and one-off works, Wood has been commissioned by a variety of international partners to create objects and installations, including Perrier Jouët, Moroso, Valextra, Bitossi Ceramiche, Tory Burch, cc-tapis, Tolix , Rosenthal, and Hermés. Her work has been exhibited in institutions like the Victoria & Albert Museum, Swiss Institute New York, Daelim Museum, and Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo and can be found in the permanent collections of the Victoria & Albert Museum, Wellcome Collection, and Abet Laminate Museum. Wood regularly lectures and leads workshops; including the MA in Luxury at ECAL.
