Bernar Venet Tabouret $5,500>
Galerie Philippe Gravier

Galerie Philippe Gravier has commissioned this striking work by Bernar Venet as part of the gallery’s Elements of Architecture program, which aims to underscore the relationship between architecture and sculpture. According to Gravier, “this project is not about creating furniture pieces, but rather about starting a dialogue about architectural language and excellence”. Each piece is signed and produced in a limited edition of 5.

French conceptual artist Bernar Venet (b. 1941) is known for his arcing, spiralling sculptures, and gestural sketches in black. He was awarded the Chevalier de la Legion d’Honneur in 2005.
