‘Atahualpa’ is a double-sided screen by French painter, sculptor, designer and craftsman François Mascarello. It is 180 cm high and wide and made of three panels. On one side, the screen presents an acrylic painting on marouflé paper, and on the other, a relief composition made of stucco applied by hand on wood. The frame is made of brushed brass. This unique piece expresses Mascarello's renowned talent for combining artistic techniques. It is thanks to his deep knowledge of colors and materials that he invents abstract landscapes that are always new and yet recognizable as his own.
