Pioneers of postmodernism, Archizoom designed this butterfly-pattern textile for Poltronova in the 1960s. Originally intended to be a bedcover for a teenager’s room, it is signed Design Archizoom Prod Poltronova. Italian radical design collective Archizoom Associati was founded in Florence in 1966 by architect-designers Andrea Branzi, Gilberto Corretti, Paolo Deganello, and Massimo Morozzi (1941-2014). Dario and Lucia Bartolini joined in 1968. After the group disbanded in 1974, the members continued to work on their own design careers independently.
