Designed by Alex Roskin, Trois Jambes II features a mirror polished stainless steel body with a mirror polished copper top. The copper top can be allowed to achieve a rich patina or be polished to retain its soft, pink hue. As Roskin works on a commission basis, custom designs may be requested.

Born in Toulouse and based in upstate New York, Roskin creates furniture and objects that blend functional design with modernist sculptural references—Richard Serra, Jean Arp, and Constantin Brancusi. Beginning with a series of quick sketches, he captures the movement of a basic form. By sculpting in foam and wood, he translates that movement into a structural model that is then 3D scanned so that it can then be cast in bronze, aluminum, or steel and finished with carved wood elements.
