This chandelier by Italian maestro Alessandro Mazzucotelli features two dragonflies on an iron crown with blue Murano glass cabochons, it is exemplary of his early-20th-century wrought iron work. A similar chandelier was made by Mazzucotelli for the entry porch of Milan’s Castiglioni Palace. Born in Lodi, Mazzucotelli (1865-1938) was an Italian master of iron craft, known for his wrought iron architectural designs in the Liberty style.
