Agustina Bottoni's Melodicware Sound Sculpture contains brass chimes of different lengths that play pleasant musical notes. Swinging by breeze or touch, they release casual melodies inspired by Debussy. At the same time, Melodicware embellishes a space with its sculptural presence. Measuring 185 x 50 cm, this piece is handmade in brass and Nero Marquina marble by skilled artisans in Italy; a limited edition of 30.
Born in Argentina, Bottoni lives and works in Milan. She develops a quite diverse range of projects, from products, furniture, and textiles to installations and window displays, driven by evocative yet refined concepts and the emotional value of design.
Bottoni’s practice is divided between self-initiated experimentations and commissions from international brands and galleries—often working in collaboration with Italian artisans. Her works have been exhibited at international venues, such as the Triennale di Milano, London Design Fair, Salone del Mobile, and Maison et Objet. She is co-founder of the design collective The Ladies’ Room.
