In the theatre world, stage property or ‘props’ represent a requisite used to illustrate or tell a story. Carolina Wilcke wanted to make something for the home and living environment that would also be a requisite, fulfilling these requirements in a similar way. “I believe that our environment has a strong influence on our state of mind. I miss love and attention in the building style of most houses that are built today. The architecture of the twenties certainly has it, in its use of leaded glass doors for example.” The “Kamerrekwisiet” is a partition made of plain oak with coloured areas of different kinds of thread. As a three-dimensional painting it gives the space atmosphere and warmth. It speaks to the imagination and at the same time creates space and possibilities. Limited edition of 1 + 1AP
